I wanted sun protection my kids would actually wear. So I made it.

Hi, I’m Ash, founder of Sol & Tide and mum of three.

Like most Aussie mums, I wanted to protect my kids from the sun — but I couldn’t find UPF 50+ clothing they could actually wear through their whole day.

I didn’t want something that only came out for swimming. I wanted real clothing with serious sun protection built in - soft, cooling and comfortable enough for the park, daycare and everyday adventures, but quick-drying when the day ended up at the beach or pool.

So I created Sol & Tide. 

And somewhere along the way, I realised mums needed it too.
